Hannah Boyd

Hannah is the CEO and Founder of Collective Revenue, serving as the driving force behind the company. She is passionate about empowering her team to thrive both personally and professionally. A Georgia native, Hannah lives in the North Atlanta area with her husband, Dr. Douglas Boyd, a practicing optometrist. Together, they have two sons and two beloved Boston Terriers. Her journey in optometry began in 2006 when she started working in a private optometry practice. Over the years, she advanced to managing billing groups for a larger company before founding Collective Revenue Consulting. With hands-on experience in every critical role within a successful practice, Hannah specializes in insurance and revenue cycle management, with a strong focus on optometry. In her free time, she enjoys reading, home decorating, party planning, spending time with friends, and relaxing by the water.

Co-Founder | OD Advisor

Douglas Boyd, OD

Dr. Douglas Boyd is the Co-Founder of Collective Revenue, serving as our OD Advisor. His firsthand industry expertise provides our team with valuable insights from an optometric professional’s perspective. A second-generation optometrist, Dr. Doug grew up immersed in his father’s family practice, where he gained experience as both an optician and practice manager before pursuing his optometric education. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Georgia and went on to graduate summa cum laude with a Doctorate of Optometry from the Kentucky College of Optometry. During his training, he worked alongside local surgeons at Woolfson Eye Institute and Omni Eye Services in Atlanta. He is also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association. Dr. Doug provides comprehensive eye care, including routine exams, as well as the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, dry eye, vision therapy, and binocular vision disorders. In addition to his clinical practice, he advises on eyecare billing, helping to optimize optometry billing services. Personally, Dr. Doug resides in Forsyth County, Georgia, with his wife, Hannah, and their two sons. In his free time, he enjoys spending time on Lake Lanier, being outdoors, hunting, and playing baseball with his boys.

Kathy McConnell

Kathy is our Billing and Compliance Officer, ensuring our team stays up to date with industry regulations and remains fully compliant. With 30 years of medical billing experience, Kathy brings a wealth of knowledge to Collective Revenue Consulting. She began her career in an ophthalmology practice where she held various roles, including front desk associate, billing supervisor, and office manager. In 2014, she shifted her focus to eyecare billing, developing extensive expertise in the full revenue cycle. Her experience spans coding, charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, denial follow-ups, and accounts receivable management. Kathy has a passion for the “detective work” involved in researching unpaid claims and is dedicated to helping optometrists maximize their revenue through her expertise and efficient billing strategies. She currently resides in Kansas City, MO, with her husband, Bob, and their five spoiled cats.

Miranda Farrington

Miranda is the steady hand at the heart of Collective Revenue Management Solutions. As our Director of Billing Operations and Client Success, she brings warmth, order, and consistency to everything she does—from organizing internal operations to supporting both our clients and team behind the scenes. Her sharp attention to detail and genuine care for people make her an invaluable asset to our company. Whether she’s managing schedules or ensuring smooth communication, Miranda helps keep our mission on course with grace and professionalism.

Breanna is a dedicated and detail-oriented billing specialist who takes great pride in delivering accurate, efficient, and reliable work. With a strong understanding of the full billing cycle, she is committed to ensuring claims are processed smoothly while minimizing errors and maximizing reimbursement outcomes. Breanna values professionalism and consistency, but what truly sets her apart is her ability to build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients. She believes that clear communication, responsiveness, and integrity are key to providing exceptional service. Outside of her professional life, Breanna enjoys spending quality time with her two children. She stays active and fulfilled by keeping busy with hobbies she loves, including baking, cooking, gardening, and fishing. Whether at work or at home, Breanna brings dedication, care, and a positive attitude to everything she does.

Grayson King

Grayson is a Billing Specialist dedicated to delivering accurate, efficient, and detail- oriented support while providing excellent customer service. She takes pride in maintaining organization and making connections with your office. Outside of the office, she enjoys living in the North Georgia mountains with her husband, their son, their daughter, and their shiz tzu. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Teri Bergevain

Teri is a dedicated Insurance Billing Specialist with deep expertise in vision and eye care services. With over 18 years of experience in the optical and Optometry billing field, she brings precision, efficiency, and a patient-centered approach to every aspect of her work. Originally from a small town in Northeast Wisconsin, Teri began her career in eye care right after high school at a Walmart Vision Center. There she gained hands-on experience in optical retail and customer service before advancing to a professional Optometry office. These early roles built her strong foundation in clinical workflows, insurance verification, claims processing, and patient advocacy. She later transitioned fully into medical billing and revenue cycle management, where she has excelled in optimizing reimbursements, reducing denials, and ensuring compliance with evolving healthcare regulations. Now based in Michigan’s scenic Upper Peninsula, Teri continues her remote work in vision revenue cycle management while embracing a hands-on, self-reliant lifestyle with her family. She and her husband Clint homeschool their three children on their 40-acre homestead, where they maintain a productive garden, greenhouse, flock of chickens, and cook with a wood stove in the winter. This balanced life reflects Teri’s values of dedication, adaptability, and care—qualities she brings to her professional role every day. When she’s not streamlining billing processes or resolving complex claims, Teri enjoys baking, cooking from scratch, creating a warm, nurturing home environment and helping out on the Homestead.

Rebekah Monroe

Rebekah works as a Billing Specialist at Collective Revenue, where she specializes in streamlining financial workflows. She brings three years of optometry industry experience to the team, having successfully transitioned from optical sales into medical and vision billing. With her background in patient-facing operations and her experience in financial tracking, Rebekah effectively maximizes revenue cycles for client practices. As a Georgia native, she spends her time outside of office hours at the racetrack, reading a good book, or with her three cats.
