What can I expect from your billing services?
Eyecare Billing services will provide: Claim review for accuracy prior to submission (necessary modifiers, co-manage data, and diagnosis codes.) Management of aged claims Payment posting of checks and EFTS from your clearinghouse and other portals. Applicable deductibles, co-coinsurance, and copays transferred to the patient's account Submission and follow-up on secondary claims Coordination of Benefits between medical and vision payers ​ Additional add-on services: Manual vision claim entry for exams and contacts Statements
What can I expect from your verification & eligibility service?
-Comprehensive Verification For Medical and Vision Payers -Information Regarding Coordination of Benefits -Detailed Information on Patient Eligibility, Deductibles, Co-insurance, Co-pays, and Unused Benefits -Identifies Issues with Patient Eligibility and Notifies Your Staff
What about Denials and Rejections?
We will exhaust all avenues available to research and understand why a claim was denied or rejected at the EDI level. We will make any necessary corrections and resubmit. In the event, that eligibility is not found, we will transfer the balance to the patient. If an appeal is necessary, we will submit those on behalf of you.
What can I expect from your credentialing service?
Our credentialing service covers new and established practices, new grads, and established optometrists. We also maintain credentialing for busy providers.
Does your service require a contract?
No, we do not require you to sign a contract for any length of time. We kindly ask for a two-week notice if you choose to end your services. We believe you should have the freedom to choose!
Do you outsource your billing services?
No, we do not outsource our billing services. Our service is performed by stateside team members. You have one dedicated billing specialist that you will come to know and love!
